BPW Nigeria National President,Yinka Ajibola, was invited to Las Palmas by Casa Africa for “Meeting of Business Women Associations of the ECOWAS".

BPW International President Dr. Amany Asfour and the Director General of Casa Africa inaugurated the First Forum for Business Women Associations for BPW Presidents from West Africa ECOWAS Region (Economic Commission of West African States) in Canary Islands in Spain. The forum was hosted and supported by Casa Africa in Canary Islands in Las Palmas, Spain. Casa Africa is the Institution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain that promotes relation with Africa. Many participants attended this forum such as BPW Spain President Sylvia, Immediate Past President Maria Jose and our BPW presidents from West Africa: Nigeria, Senegal, Benin, Cote D'Ivoire, Sierraleon.

At this forum, President Amany spoke about the Role of BPW International in Economic Empowerment of Women and shared the global vision of BPW under the Theme of the Triennium “Empowering Women to realize the Sustainable Development Goals”.
